The “Day of Women” has been established worldwide as a day of recognition of woman΄s substantial international contribution in the civil society and mankind in general.

Women today, being equally present and active in all fields of modern society, have managed to gain the necessary authority.

In particular, as far as the Hellenic Police Force is concerned, women police agents are showing everyday their dynamic presence, having won the respect and recognition not only of their men colleagues but also of the Greek society in general, since women have proved distinctively professional but all the more sensitive.

On this occasion, I would like to address a very warm greeting to all women Police Agents, Civil Agents and Border Guards, hailing their significant and substantial contribution in all key fields of activity of the Hellenic Police Force.
